Articles on Library Blogging worth reading

  1. "Blogomania" by Eric Oatman - Check out the school library blog examples that he talks about in his article. Ex: Hunterdon High School, Blue Duke Reads

  2. "Looking to Ramp Up Your Library Web Site? Try a Blog" by Carolyn Foote - A great article that discusses the ins and outs of library blogging. Digital copy provides a "wealth-itude" of links to helpful sites. Example: The Blogging Libraries Wiki I found Booksplat here. Something to peruse for those of us with ideas for a summer reading blog.

  3. "This Blog's for You: Ten of the best Blog sites for folks who take Kid's Lit seriously (But not too seriously" by Elizabeth Bird - Be sure to take a peek at her list on children/Young Adult blog sites. Ex: 7 Impossible Things.... or Reading Rants

Additional blog resources can be found in the workshop handout. *See book by Will Richardson.
